Matthew William Sorum (born November 19 1960) is an American rock drummer and percussionist. Sorum is most famous for his 7-year stint in Guns N' Roses (1990-1997) and supergroup Velvet Revolver (2002-present) which is comprised in part of former Guns N' Roses members Duff McKagan (bass) and Slash (lead guitar). He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Guns N' Roses in 2012.
