Martha Maria Norelius (January 22 1909 - September 25 1955) was an American swimmer three-time Olympic champion and former world record-holder in five events. The Swedish-born Norelius represented the United States at the 1924 Summer Olympics and 1928 Summer Olympics. In the 1924 Olympics she won a gold medal in the 400-meter freestyle event. Four years later in Amsterdam she won gold medals in the 400-meter freestyle event and 4×100 m freestyle relay event.
